Data controller
ArsRes operates this website from Singapore. ArsRes is the controller of personal data collected through arsres.net, including waitlist, account and course communications.
What we collect
When you join a waitlist, create an account or enrol, we may collect your name, email, profile information, course selection, order information and communications. If you later pay online, card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored on this website.
Why we use it
- to manage accounts, course reservations and purchase records;
- to send course, schedule, access and support information;
- to operate the waitlist and respond to enquiries;
- to improve the website, with analytics configured only after appropriate notice and consent where required.
How long we keep it
Waitlist and enquiry records are kept until you ask us to remove them, or until they are no longer needed to open a cohort or reply to you. Account data is kept while the account is active, then deleted or anonymised when the account is closed unless a legal duty requires a longer period. Course enrolment records needed for access and support are kept for the relevant cohort and a reasonable period afterwards.
Service providers
We use hosting and email providers to run the website and send notices. If online payment is enabled for a published cohort, a payment provider processes the order. Analytics, if used, are switched on only after notice and consent where required. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to withdraw consent for marketing emails. Use the trade enquiry form or waitlist form on this website. We will respond within a reasonable time. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore if you have a privacy complaint.
